Sri Lanka’s Independence Day marked in Brazil

Secretary for Asia and the Pacific Ambassador Susan Kleebank of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil was chief guest at the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka held at the Hotel Villa Rizza in Brasilia, organised by the Embassy of Sri Lanka. Ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, members of the senate, representatives of international organisations, ministry officials, journalists in Brazil joined the celebration at the invitation of Sri Lanka Ambassador to Brazil C A Chaminda I Colonne.
