Evolution Auto’s new, most accessible Electric Double-Cab
View(s):Evolution Auto recently launched the Riddara RD6 Active, the country’s latest all-electric double-cab pickup, which was unveiled at the BMICH Motor Show. The RD6 Active, which is designed to combine the practicality of a pickup with SUV-like comfort, is a major milestone in increasing the accessibility, affordability, and relevance of electric double-cabs to Sri Lankan lifestyles, the company said in a media release.
The Riddara RD6 Active, positioned as the most affordable electric pickup in its class, was introduced to satisfy the evolving needs of Sri Lanka’s youth, professionals, families, and adventure seekers by providing powerful electric performance without sacrificing comfort, functionality, or everyday usability.
Built on a globally recognised electric platform, the Riddara RD6 Active provides a smooth, confident driving experience that feels much like a SUV than a traditional pickup, while maintaining the functionality expected from a double-cab. The RD6 Active has a range of up to 373 km on a single charge, making it ideal for both workday demands and weekend trips.
An 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, a digital driver instrument cluster, electric driver-side seats, leather upholstery, and 17-inch alloy wheels are just a few of the car’s many comfort and technological features.
