Yungblud Halts World Tour Due to Medical Concerns
Yungblud has cancelled his Idols World Tour on medical advice, following the announcement on 16th November. The singer, whose actual name is Dominic Harrison, was on the US leg of his tour. The 28 year old decided after some voice and blood tests were done. He was heartbroken after and has promised to refund tickets sold for his US and South America tour. Yungblud is likely to reschedule his tour for next year.
Taylor Swift Returns to No. 1 with ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’
Taylor Swift has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the UK singles chart this week with her song ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’. Hence, the song claims its fourth non-consecutive week at the helm of the UK singles chart. The track was the first release from the current album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’. The dance/synth pop, written by Swift with Max Martin and Shellback, debuted on the UK singles chart at No.1 six weeks ago. After a reign of three consecutive weeks, the song gave way to Huntr/X’s ‘Golden’. After a two week stay at No. 2, ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ became the chart topping song once again.
Virtual Sensations Saja Boys Transition into a Real Band
Saja Boys, the animated virtual band which became globally popular thanks to the Netflix show Kpop Deamon Hunter, have decided to become a real band. The people who voiced the hit songs ‘Your Idol’ and ‘Soda Pop’ have decided to register as a group with the Federation of Korean Performers. They follow in the footsteps of Huntr/X who also transitioned from a virtual to a live act. Saja Boys originally comprised Andrew Choi, NeckWay and Kevin Woo. Two new members have been added to the group, Danny Chung and Sam UIL Lee.
AC/DC Concert Shakes Melbourne—Literally
AC/DC, the heavy metal rock band that has been active since 1973, is doing a stadium tour of their homeland, Australia. According to reports, the sound emanating from their concert held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 12th November, together with the audience movements, set off earthquake monitoring equipment. The Seismology Research Centre, located around three kilometres away, recorded 2 to 5 hertz on their detection equipment. AC/DC is touring Australia after 10 years. Angus Young leads the band that has sold over 200 million records worldwide.
