Lyceum Wattala shine at Junior John Tarbat Athletics Championship
View(s):Lyceum International School, Wattala had an outstanding performance at the John Tarbat Junior Athletics Championship 2025, winning several top titles across age groups. The Under-13 and Under-15 girls were crowned overall champions, while the Under-14 girls and Under-15 boys finished as runners-up. Gimhani Aloka was recognised as the overall best 400m runner, and the girls relay team also finished as
runners-up. Overall, the boys secured fifth place, while the girls were crowned overall champions with 82 points.
The championship highlighted the hard work, focus, and sportsmanship of all Lyceum Wattala athletes. Their commitment on the track and in field events reflected not only their personal talent but also the guidance and support of their coaches.
