63rd SSC Swimming Gala 2025 – A splendid display of talent and team spirit
View(s):The 63rd SSC Swimming Gala was successfully held on October 25 at the SSC Swimming Pool Complex, marking yet another memorable chapter in the club’s proud sporting history. The 63rd edition showcased remarkable performances and enthusiastic participation, reflecting SSC’s continued commitment to promoting aquatic sports and nurturing young talent.
Events were held to appease all age groups, beginning from Under-8 and above, and even senior members of the Sinhalese Sports Club too their turn in testing their swimming skills. The event concluded on a high note, with appreciation extended to all officials, participants, and supporters who contributed to making this year’s gala a resounding success.

The event was graced by SSC President Ranjith Pandithge, Honorary Secretary A.D.H. Samaranayake, and members of the Executive Committee, whose presence added great encouragement to all participants. The SSC Swimming House Committee, under the leadership of Dhananjaya Rubasinhe, its current year President and his dedicated team, did an outstanding job in organising this year’s gala. Their commitment and teamwork ensured a smooth and vibrant event filled with competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among swimmers of all ages.
