Ramayana Cultural Conclave – Jaffna

The Ramayana Cultural Conclave was held in Jaffna on September 21, bringing together heritage, art and scholarship in a vibrant celebration of the Ramayana. Organized by Dhanur, the cultural brand of EventorG Pvt Ltd in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Jaffna, guests included Shri Sai Murali S, Consul General of India in Jaffna, Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, scholars and cultural leaders.

The lighting of the lamp was followed by speeches, presentations and felicitations. The highlight of the event was the series of performances presented by the Ramanathan Academy of Performing Arts, University of Jaffna, where teachers, musicians and students brought the Ramayana stories to life through music, dance and drama.

The conclave emphasized not only the deep cultural and spiritual bonds between India and Sri Lanka but also the potential of cultural tourism in strengthening regional connectivity.
