Mom Leaders Conference in Colombo
View(s):Parenthood Global recently brought together over 300 participants from across Sri Lanka for its Mom Leaders Conference 2025. Representing more than 40 organisations and companies, this gathering honoured, empowered, and inspired mothers in the workplace and beyond, the organisers said in a media release.
Now in its second consecutive year, the conference has rapidly become a cornerstone event in Sri Lanka’s corporate and social calendar. Serving as a national platform to champion the leadership and resilience of working mothers and mom entrepreneurs, it reflected a vibrant mosaic of trailblazers, corporate executives, policy advocates, entrepreneurs, and allies, united in the mission of creating a more inclusive and equitable world for mothers in every sphere of life.
The welcome address was made by Ms. Roshni Niranjala Dhananchayan, Chairperson of Parenthood Global, who emphasised the transformative impact of inclusive leadership and the ripple effect it can create when institutions invest in women—especially mothers. What followed was a series of impactful keynote speeches, strategic panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to spark dialogue and drive action. Speakers brought a mix of personal narratives, research insights, and practical strategies that reinforced the urgency of cultivating workplaces that support and elevate mothers.
