The Education Ministry has failed to take prompt action to resolve many disciplinary inquiries, the Auditor General has noted.

In observations made in the Education Ministry’s 2024 Performance Report, the Auditor General has  highlighted that as of March 31, there were 39 unresolved disciplinary inquiries within the ministry.

“Due to the Ministry’s failure to take prompt action in this regard, the resulting consequences have escalated to the extent of creating unsafe conditions for students within the school system, which is currently evident,” the Auditor General has stressed. (SJ)
