CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards 2025 Applications Now Open.
View(s):The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka) incorporated by an Act of Parliament proudly announces the 11th Annual CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards – 2025. Applications are now open, and companies across the corporate spectrum are invited to submit their 31st December 2024 and 31st March Annual Reports before the closing date 15th August 2025. The Awards Ceremony will take place in November 2025.
These awards recognise excellence in integrated reporting—a critical framework that promotes transparency, accountability, and long-term value creation through financial and non-financial disclosures, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
Mr. Jean Bouquot, President – International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), commended CMA Sri Lanka for its leadership in advancing sustainability and integrated reporting.
“You are building a more sustainable, transparent, and resilient global economy. Integrated reporting strengthens accountability, fosters transparency, and promotes long-term thinking.”
Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, President – CMA Sri Lanka, emphasised the growing significance of the CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards conducted for the 11th consecutive year:
“We invite all public quoted and private companies, state organisations, SMEs to implement integrated reporting to create value in the short medium and long term and join in the journey of Integrated Reporting and Value Creation to their stakeholders”.
Senior Prof. Hareendra Dissabandara, Chairman – Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Sri Lanka, highlighted the SEC’s role in advancing disclosure standards:
“Integrated reporting is essential to building investor confidence. The adoption of SLFRS S1 and S2 will ensure that listed entities are aligned with international Sustainability Standards.”
Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike, CEO – Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), reaffirmed CSE’s commitment as the Strategic Partner:
