A high-scoring Inter-School cricket match between Trinity College and St. Sebastian College, played at Moratuwa, concluded with a first-inning victory for St. Sebastian’s as they reached 358 for 7 in response to Trinity’s total of 357.

Resuming from their overnight score of 341 for 9, Trinity added a further 16 runs before being bowled out for 357, with Manuja Chanthuka (4/102), Ryan Dissanayake (3/56), and Nadeesha Fernando (2/81) doing bulk of the damage. Trinity’s innings featured a century from Jayavi Liyanagama (101) and two half centuries from Janith Ravishka (69) and Viduka Dhammage (65).

In reply, St. Sebastian’s reached 358 for 7, with Vimath Dinsara scoring a masterful 128, including 13 boundaries and a six, and Ryan Dissanayake making a fine 71 with 10 boundaries and two sixes.
