Conducted by the Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) Training and Development Committee, led by Buddhika de Silva, the programme attracted a diverse group of 30 participants. The objective was to provide the coaches with the highest level of qualifications, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to the growth and development of badminton in the country.

The training sessions concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony, where each coach was recognised for their individual brilliance. The certificate presentation ceremony garnered significant attendance from key figures in SLB, including Vice President and Technical Committee Chairman Roshan Fernando, Secretary Ajith Wijesinghe, Treasurer and Training and Development Committee Secretary Mangala Gamage, and Training and Development Committee Chairman Buddhika de Silva. Also present were Badminton World Federation Educationist Pavitra Abeysirigunawardana and Training and Development Committee member Bimal Kothalawala.
