2023 was a year of triumphs, tears, and everything in between. It was a year that reminded us of the power of sports to unite, inspire, and spark joy. As we move into 2024, the anticipation for future sporting epics is already simmering. What will the next year bring? We wait with bated breath.

They followed it up with a win against Bangladesh, but two massive defeats against Australia and New Zealand meant they crashed out of the tournament.

World Test Championship: Led by Kane Williamson’s expertly-paced 121, New Zealand secured a thrilling last-ball win by 2 wickets at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch to not only beat Sri Lanka but also end their hopes of qualifying for the World Test Championship final.
