Curtin University Business School has announced that it will offer a 3-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree through Curtin Colombo commencing in July 2023.

Curtin Colombo is the latest addition to Curtin University’s global operation that includes campuses in Western Australia, Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore, and Mauritius. In recent years, Curtin University has achieved its highest-ever result in the QS World University Rankings by rising to 193rd globally and continues to be positioned in the top 1% of universities worldwide (QSWUR 2023). Curtin Colombo offers Curtin University degrees in Engineering, Computing and Business that students may complete in Sri Lanka.

By choosing to complete your course at Curtin Colombo, you get the opportunity to obtain a full Curtin degree while residing in Sri Lanka, enjoying the convenience and affordability of living at home. You also have the option of transferring to Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, or to any of Curtin’s global campuses that deliver the same course. This flexibility allows you to explore multiple destinations and cultures during their studies.

Curtin Business School is recognised as an elite global business school through its accreditation by AACSB International. AACSB accreditation is awarded to business schools that meet strict standards of quality academic and professional excellence. It is known worldwide as the most recognised form of professional accreditation earned by an institution’s business programmes.

In the first year of the Business degree programme, you will explore core competencies in business, learn to use financial information to make informed and responsible decisions, and develop your business intelligence and analytical capabilities to interpret data in a meaningful way. You will complete management foundation units aligned to global trends, and develop skills across marketing, finance, human resources, project management and strategic management.  You will graduate ready to meet the challenges of industry.

In addition to the core units, you will study three specialisations during the course. The specialisation includes International Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Digital Marketing. Specialising will enhance your skills and make you a highly sought-after graduate.

When you complete your degree, you can look forward to an array of career prospects in business management/administration; these include branch manager, business administrator, business consultant, operations manager, retail manager, sales manager, and senior manager.

The Curtin Bachelor of Business Administration course is scheduled for commencement in July 2023 at Curtin Colombo. Students enrolling now will be benefitted from a special 8-week university preparation programme prior to commencement of the degree.
