Royal College became double champions in Table Tennis at the recently held All-Island National Schools Games 2022, winning the titles in both Under-16 and Under-18 age categories. In the Under-16 finals, Royal claimed a hard fought 3-1 victory over Ananda College. For Royal, Janith Batugedara won both his Singles matches and Lithum Karunasena won his match 3-1.

In a keenly contested Under-18 final, Royal emerged victorious over Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, 3-1. For the champions, skipper Aathif Rusthi led the winning spree claiming victory 3-2 in his Singles match, while Vinuga Keragala and Vinuka Gunawardena clinched victories in their respective matches, sealing an emphatic win.
