Information to help you get started on your application process:
n O/L & A/L students with average grades must have English proficiency and good TOEFLE scores
n A/L Students with Good grades will be eligible for Advanced Placement Credit Exemptions
n Automatic scholarships are offered with O/L & A/L that sets you for merit based scholarships
n Students can also apply for Merit Scholarships through the Financial Aid office of the chosen university.
n It takes approximately a minimum of 3 months for everything to be processed and for students to receive the University acceptance letter
n Students who start their Application process in January 2020 will get a head start and will get Acceptance letters by March/April 2020
n Visa application has to be submitted on time as Canada visa process takes 8 weeks and U.S visa one day

In 2015 I had just completed my O/Levels and decided to visit ANC at the EDEX education fair where I got the opportunity to meet two U.S University Representatives. It was always my dream to go to the U.S and ANC presented the chance to actually meet two universities from U.S and from here is where my journey to the U.S began as a young 17-year-old student right after O/Ls.
I was one of the first direct transfers from ANC Colombo branch. ANC direct placement team helped me throughout the entire process, it was a very tedious task especially for direct transfers wanting to go to the United States without having any experience, and without having taken any classes at ANC. The application process was very overwhelming but we managed to get through it.
