Classic Travels create history

Rimzan Hameed from Classic Travels created history by emerging the first-ever winner of the Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC), introductory Pool Tournament 2014 sponsored Yenesha Travels. The tournament was held at the ‘Shotz’ Pool Lounge at Excel World Darley Road.

Hameed, a stylish and accomplished player overcame the very promising, Vivek Kerkovan from Kingsbury in the Cup final by two frames to one.
54 players from 17 member firms participated at this inaugural tournament. The tournament was conducted on a best of three frames, knockout format up to the quarter-finals.

Shanka Fernando, the General Manager of Yenesha Travels, who was the chief guest at the awards ceremony, gave away the awards, along with TTSC officials Denesh Silva (President), Bonita Odayar (Vice President), Shan Perera (Tournament Coordinator), Dilshan Gnanapragasam (Committee Member) and Cammie Gunasekera (Committee Member).
