consecutive time and sponsored by Commercial Credit, when they defeated Achievers Lanka Business School by 35 runs in the final, played at Thurstan Road recently.
A total of 81 teams competed under two categories. Universities and Educational Institutions competed under one category, while Sports Clubs and Companies competed under another category.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Ragama SC scored 107 runs and wrapped up ALBS for 72 to win by 72 runs.
The winning team took away a cash award of RS 50,000/- while the runners-up were awarded Rs. 25,000 and the Man of the Final, Mohamed of Ragama SC, received a cash award of Rs. 7,500.
The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was former Sri Lanka cricketer Brendon Kuruppu. (BM)
