Musaeus sing a-along

The fiftieth anniversary of the Musaeus College Past Teachers’ Association (MCPTA) will be held in unique style with s   SING-ALONG with the inimitable Sam the Man.

 The event will be held at the state-of-the-art Peter De Abrew Auditorium of Musaeus College at  Barnes Place, Colombo 07  Saturday on  April 7th, 2012 where Sam will bring to  life nostalgic songs of the past as well as the favourite numbers of the electrifying music of today.

  The 1,600-seater auditorium with its plush orange-gold upholstery and ultra-modern acoustics and lights, will be the perfect venue for the melodious repertoire of Sam the Man’s Sound of Music.

 Proceeds of this venture will go to the MCPTA’s 2012 community project in eye-care, channeled through Help Age, to assist needy elders with the gift of sight, while part proceeds will help their own members who have given the best years of their lives to Musaeus and who now, may be in need of specialized care and consideration.

 The MCPTA has been assisted by the Musaeus College Past Pupils’ Association (MCPPA) which has joined in by generously assisting to make this event a success. . The MCPTA was inaugurated in November 2006, with the blessings of the Chairman and Trustees of Musaeus College Board of Trustees to establish an association for friendship and fellowship among the past teachers.
