Commenting on this workshop which was conducted by Toyota Lanka for the displaced children, Chief Operating Officer of Toyota Lanka, Manohara Atukorala said, “This workshop was able to link these displaced children into our ‘Dream car Art Competition.’

We felt that even though we gave immense publicity to this campaign children of these areas could have not got the opportunity to participate due to the lack of opportunity and thus reveal their talents to the world would be missed by them.”

The Toyota Dream car Art Contest is held in 80 countries for children below 15 years of age.
Any number of drawings can be submitted but each drawing should be accompanied by a duly filled application form issued by Toyota Lanka. Entries close on January 31. The next workshop is scheduled to be held in Agunakolapalassa in the Hambantota District in the near future.
