Champion swimmer Nuwan Thilakasiri

Nuwan Thilakasiri of Richmond College Galle emerged the champion swimmer at the contest held at Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda to mark the anniversary of R.M.P. de Silva.

Taking part in six events at the meet Nuwan he did well in all events to pocket many titles.
At the Schools Water Sports Festival 2011 Nuwan was placed third in the 200, 400 meters and 50 meter butterfly stroke events. A bright future awaits this lad in swimming events.
