Workshop on Reflective Practice in Nursing successfully conducted in Sri Lanka by Thames International

University of Worcester - UK, in cooperation with Thames International Sri Lanka conducted a successful workshop on Reflective Practice in Nursing in early October 2011 in Sri Lanka. The workshop conducted by Ms Ruth Pearce, Head of Continuing Professional Development Institute of Health and Society, University of Worcester and attracted a good participation of 6o nurses from the Government & private Hospitals and was well received by the attendees.

Held under the theme "Reflective Practice in Nursing", the workshop invited the participation of nurses from Hospitals representing all districts. It was also attended by Mr. Keerthirathna Wanasekara (Senior Lecturer - School of Nursing Colombo).

Held for the first time, the one day workshop featured a number of topics aimed at improving their nursing skills. Participants were awarded with a Certificate of participation at the closing and it was a wonderful day and the evaluative feedback Ms Ruth Pearce has collated indicates it was a great success with the nurses.
