Sebs go marching on …

‘Sebs Nite 2011’, the annual Dinner Dance of the St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa will come alive at the Ramada Colombo (formerly Holiday Inn) on Saturday, 15 October from 8.30pm. Popular bands Gypsies with Sunil and Kings with Chandral, both old Sebs will be in attendance along with Dushan Vas as the Master of ceremonies.

Apart from the main bands, a couple of popular artistes too will be in action at the dance along with the new dance acts. Prizes and surprises will be galore on the night including the selection of ‘Sebs Queen’, ‘Best Dressed Seb’, Best Dance Couple, Baila Dance Competition and entrance ticket draw etc.
Prizes include several air tickets and surprises to keep the revellers enthralled with take away souvenirs have been planned by the Organizing Committee.

‘Sebs Nite 2011’ is organized by the Old Boys Association of St. Sebastian’s College. The OBA has made necessary arrangements to hold this dance as a major event of the OBA calendar. ‘Now this has become an annual feature and is an event much looked forward to by not only old Sebastianes but all dance enthusiasts, who were present at the previous dances’ said Premalal Aponso, the current President of the OBA.

Part of the proceeds from this years dance will be channeled to the Dental Clinic Project at the College Premises for the benefit of the students. The tickets are priced at Rs 3500/- per head all inclusive.
