Dancing to their tune

All are awaiting the decision that is said to be given in September regarding a top sporting event to be held here in the not too distant future. A top man working on this project is said to be drawing a salary amounting to Rs. two and half lakhs. It is said that this guy worked earlier on a certain website which was not very successful. The bid to stage this event took place in a neighbouring country and even a dance troupe amounting to 52 had accompanied the team that made the bid.

Two busy officials
The hottest sport in the country has two officials who are busy buying gear for the sport. One official is said to have purchased goods to the value of Rs. 10 million and the other to the value of Rs. 17 million. This entire amount is just to buy some equipment for the said sport.

Hot bath in the offing
The forthcoming elections of a key sporting event holds center stage these days. Those who are vying for the posts are busy going about trying to canvass votes. A certain individual had been told by the biggest chap around that he should not interfere in these polls but to stick to his own business or he is bound to be in ‘very hot’ water.

Very slim
Also on the same subject a little bird whispers that the governing body has no money to pay its workers and that they are hoping to apply for a loan from the world governing body. All the coffers are said to be empty and the chances of obtaining a loan from the big body is also said to be very, very slim.

Sad situation
A leading ground down South has not been able to pay their salaries and they cannot appeal to anyone to help them out of the situation as they have a secret which cannot be shared with anyone. What the secret is no one knows and because of this closely guarded secret the ground staff will also not be paid. What a sad situation!

54 not a big qualification
The Big Guy in sports is not happy with the selection made to send a coach to a big neighbouring Asian country in a sport related with nets. He has asked the person who has been selected to make the trip to write down his qualifications, to find out whether he is really qualified. The Big Man was shocked to see that his qualifications contained that he had gone on 54 official tours. That was the only qualification he had! The Big Man simply scrapped his name off the list.
