Kingslake unveils an IT solution for banks and telcos

Kingslake, together with Progress Software Corporation unveiled a new Information Technology solution (IT) intended to enable enterprises including banks and mobile service providers to improve business performance and to be operationally responsive to capitalize on opportunities, drive efficiencies and reduce risks in the rapidly changing business environment.

The solution, Progress Responsive Process Management suite (RPM), combines comprehensive visibility, business event processing and business process management (BPM) capabilities on a single, unified platform. CEO Kingslake Engineering Systems Private Ltd, Dr S. Dharmavasan told the Business Times in an interview on the sidelines of a seminar on “top line growth for the financial sector through operational responsiveness' in Colombo that they will provide IT solutions to all banks in the country to meet the needs of their customers speedily . These solutions can be adjusted to fulfill requirements of each bank.

In today’s business climate, the marketplace changes quickly. Businesses must have the tools, technology and information to enable quick and efficient adaptation to these changes. Executives must be able to provide the right people with the right information at the right time, monitor market conditions, customer preferences, future trends, and demographic shifts and make sound business decisions based on accurate, current, and comprehensive information

Many organizations already have much of the data they need to achieve these goals. Unfortunately this data is often locked up in multiple, disparate systems. These systems do not easily share data, or the data is inconsistent, inaccurate, or out-of-date, Mr. Dharmavasan said. if you need real time, immediate information with continuous process improvement with the business growth then you need RPM, he added.

He disclosed that the Progress RPM suite is a seamlessly integrated, interactive and customizable solution that provides the insight and controls you need to drive your business. "It empowers you and other decision makers to monitor, control and improve your businesses in real time," he said.
