Seneviratne crashes into International contest

While the status-quo remained the same in the All Island and the Emerging categories, there was a new comer in the International Schools’ segment where Dhananjana Seneviratne of Gateway Colombo has sprung a surprise on the other two contestants in the competition.

At the end of count No14, Seneviratne making his debut appearance come up with a total of 253 votes – just seven behind the second placed Mohammed Azher Samsoodeen of Leighton Park International School who has a total of 260 votes.

In the Allisland Contest, the prolific Royal opener Ramith Rambukwella is still in the lead with 12750 votes while in the Emerging Schools’ category Kavindu Ashan Perera of Royal College –Panadura has kept his lead with his count of 1489 votes against his name.

Please note :
It has to noted that the organisers have already sent all relevant schools has been sent letters requesting the individual and team performances of the 2010/11 season and format is already provided to you.
It has been decided by the Organizing Committee that any school which does not provide such relevant information, will not be considered for any awards.
Once again the organisers request the relevant school authorities to send all information to fax to: 011- 2637093 or email the detail as per the format provided to you before 10th of April 2011.
Also note by that there will not be a results count on Sunday the 17th of may. Results of Coupon No 15 will be published on 24 May.
