The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) A Team emerged as the overall champions at the annual cricket tournament organized by the Association of Accounting Technicians, held on January 9, beating the AAT students' team in an exciting final.

The ICASL A Team captained by Kamal Priyanga also beat CIMA, AAT 'A' and JMC before qualifying for the final and winning the trophy.

The winning team comprising Gayan Wilarachchi, Dhanushka Jayakody, Viraj Cooray, Reyan Rajaratnam, Thilanka Balasuriya and Samanthi Perera displayed some exceptional talent continuously during the tournament held at the Torrington flats grounds in Colombo.

ICASL A Team's Reyan Rajaratnam was adjudged the Man of the Tournament while Thilanka Balasuriya was adjudged the Best Bowler.
