CR ‘Barbarians’ win Tag Rugby 7s

CR&FC Barbarians won the championship title at the CR Wild Elephants Tag Rugby Sevens Festival when they beat the Kelani Valley Rangers 5-0.

In the Bowl Final Mercantile RFU beat Elephant House 5-0 during extra time. The Plate Final was won by Lanka Lions Dubai who beat A Goal Academy 10-5 after a tough fight.

Champion team captain Ravindra Wekadapola of the CR ‘Barbarians’ receiving the Cup and cash award from Jit Gunaratne, President Consumer Goods, John Keells Holdings.
