Rohan to bring HD technology

Well-known teledrama director Rohan Weliwita recently went to China to study and introduce HD (High Definition) technology to the television and cinema industry of Sri Lanka.

The ‘Suseema’ famed director said that he would find out ways of making HD television and cinema programmes and introduing HD cinema theatres to Sri Lanka.

Rohan who introduced HD technology to Sri Lanka is also the chairman of ‘Finevision’ one of the oldest companies in Sri Lanka which supplies HD equipment and services.

Meanwhile Rohan also has completed his first film ‘Suseema’, the cinematic version of his popular teledrama ‘Suseema’. The film is played by Suraj Mapa, Saranga Disasekara, Paboda Sandeepani, Kapila Sigera, Dusmantha Prasad and Robin Fernando.
