Citi has been recognised as the best corporate/institutional Internet bank in Sri Lanka, by the industry magazine, Global Finance, in its annual World’s Best Internet Banks in Asia 2010 awards, said Citi in a press release.
Citi was also recognised in Australia, Bangladesh, Japan ,New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam in the Asia Pacific region, said the bank.
Banks chosen to receive the Global Finance awards were selected based on their strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, vidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality.
