Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Sunset
By Shenara Peiris (12 years), Lyceum International School, Nugegoda

The sun goes down,
In the night,
The beauty of birds,
While in flight,
The colours mix,
In the open sky,
And to the sun we say goodbye.
Goes down the horizon,
At the beach,
And it hides,
Till its' out of reach.
The beauty of the sunset,
We can see,
The beehive is filled,
With tired bees.
The beauty of nature,
Is so great,
For the sunset,
We shall wait.
