Hambantota district MP Namal Rajapaksa and Minister Mervyn Silva are among the 17 Government members who have been nominated to serve on the 31-member Parliamentary Committee on Public Enterprise (COPE) in the new Parliament.
Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa has announced the names of members to the two Parliamentary oversight committees namely the COPE and the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) but as to who will head them would be decided at the first meetings of the two committees scheduled for early June.
