New envoys for Manila, Tel Aviv, Riyadh

Three new ambassadors have been picked to fill vacant diplomatic posts, the Sunday Times learns.
Former Air Force Commander and Chief of Defence Staff Donald Perera has been picked as ambassador to Israel, career diplomat Ahamed Jawad to Saudi Arabia and ruling UPFA politician Bennet Cooray to the Philippines.
