Lanka’s main pest control company gets certified

The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd, a top pest control company, last week said it had received the ISO 9001-2000 quality management system from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution for the provision of Pest Control Services, Termite Control Services and Fumigation Services.

The certificate was presented to company CEO Marlon Ferreira by Dr. A R L Wijesekera Chairman SLSI. 2009. The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd is the first and only pest control company in the island to achieve the ISO 9001-2000 standards and also one of the few pest control companies to achieve this status globally. The company quoted Mr Ferreira as saying that the company is setting a benchmark in pest management industry in Sri Lanka and also implementing IPM- Integrated Pest Management standards for food plants.
