‘Mama Podi Kale’: New cut from Sunil M.

Sunil Malawana of 'Moonstones' fame is busy these days putting final touches to his new song. His first Solo Album titled ‘Mala’ was an absolute sell out and a huge success. The beautiful video clip of Mala was in the music charts of Sirasa, TNL, Rupavahini, Derana, ITN continuously for six months which speaks for the popularity of the song.

When TV Times asked him about his new release and he told us it is titled ‘Mama podi Kale’. He had just finished shooting of a video for an English song titled ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ from his Mala Album.

Sunil is a big name in the shipping and aviation industry and does music only as a hobby. Due to his Company opening branches in Bangladesh, Indonesia, India etc. he has to do a lot of travelling as well and has limited time for music.

Although he does not perform in public we will be able to see him singing at his brother Annesley's 40th Anniversary Concert at the BMICH on the November 18.

Sunil celebrates his birthday on Monday, October 30.
