ICASL seminar on capital markets and financial reporting

The Financial Reporting Faculty of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka (ICASL) will hold a seminar on accounting standards under the theme “Capital Market Growth & Financial Reporting” on November 2 at the Hotel Galadari Colombo.

ICASL is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), International Accounting Standards committee (IASC), Confederation of Asian & Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and a founder member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). ICASL is also the sole accounting and Aauditing standards setting authority in Sri Lanka and the application of such standards is mandatory for business enterprises specified in the schedule in the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing standards Act no 15 of 1995.

Presentations will be made by Suren Rajakarier, Partner KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton, Manil Jayasinghe Partner, Ernst & Young and ICASL Vice President Nishan Fernando, Finance Director ODEL (Pvt) Ltd.
