Vinuda wins Shangri-La Hambantota Boxing Day Charity Golf 2020

Young golfing sensation Vinuda Wieerasinghe won the third annual Shangri-La Hambantota Golf Resort and Spa Boxing Day Charity Golf 2020 which took place at their Hotel course in Hambantota recently.
Vinuda won both the main event and the Nearest to the Pin. Last year’s winner, Ravi Liyanage won the Longest Drive segment in this event. Vinuda’s brother Anuda won the Tomb Flag segment.
Proceeds from this tournament went towards the Smile Lanka Children’s Home in Hambantota that supports the education and nutrition of less privileged children. Funds collected from this Boxing Day Charity Golf Tournament too went towards the purchase of books and stationery for the students of Smile Lanka.
