The outrageous spread of Coronavirus and with over 18 million of the global population infected, Sri Lanka has taken drastic measures against the virus whilst making commendable progress in controlling the spread of COVID-19. However, the threat is not over yet – We have all been forced to take out-of-ordinary preventive measures, to maintain hygiene and educate ourselves on the importance of adjustments we do to our lifestyle to align with post-pandemic hygienic practices.

As most schools prepare to reopen after five months due to the lasting effect of the pandemic, the local authorities and school staff stress on the need for schools to be sanitized in order to keep the students and teachers safe while at school. As a means to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, measures are implemented to sanitize the surroundings and restrict movement within school premises.

Camso Loadstar (Pvt) Ltd along with Office Supply.lk initiated Project ‘Rakawarnaya’ with the aim of reaching out and supplying disinfectants to schools that do not raise sufficient funds to sanitize the school premises and cater their necessity which was coordinated and distributed by the Rotaract club of IIT playing a vital role. As a Corparate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project of Camso Loadstar (Pvt) Ltd., OfficeSupply.lk along with RCIIT ensured that all the CSR standards and the compliance are met and Was able to donate over 1500+ Liters Facility cleaners and 100+ Cans of hand wash to 68 selected rural schools in the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts.
