An evening to cherish by Gothami BV dancers

‘Nalanga Ranga Sanni 19’ an elegant dancing concert presented by the students of Gothami Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo, was held last Sunday at the BMICH. The concert included colourful dancing items varying from Eastern to Western and styles from all over the world.
The concert was conducted with the blessings of the school Principal, Subhashini Dematagoda and was organised by an initiative of Wasantha Abeywardhana, the consultant of the school’s Dancing Society. The initiative was a success with support coming from Loyola de Silva, Ayani Lanendra, Rasika Welagedara, members of the staff, parents of participants, the School Development Committee and the past pupils.
‘Kalashuri’ and ‘Vishwa Kala Keerthi’ Rajini Selvanayagam graced the occasion as the chief guest, as she inspired the young and aspiring dancers of Gothami Balika Vidyalaya by her presence.
