Thomian stickers win

View(s): S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia (STC) made a clean sweep at their annual Hockey encounters against Trinity College Kandy (TCK), at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy last weekend. The Thomians won all 3 events viz, Under (U)-16 2-1, U-19 4-1 and the Old Boys event 2-1. The U-19 fixture was played for the Warden Neville de Alwis trophy, while the Old Boys game, started in 2003, was played for the Mirzan Ousmand trophy, and the U-16 match was played for the BSG Sahayam shield. Head to head, theThomians lead the U-19 tally by 8 to Trinitians 5, with 2 draws.
1974 Hockey ‘Lion’ and Open University of Sri Lanka Senior Lecturer- Chemistry, Razeen Haniffa was the Chief Guest.
