2019 A/L Arts stream Aesthetic subjects from Oct.28-Nov.8
View(s):The Department of Examination (DoE) announced that the practical exams for Aesthetic subjects of the Arts stream of the 2019 Advanced Level exam will be from October 28- November 8.
There will be 174,778 candidates performing before 1,295 examination Boards.
The candidates will be judged on Eastern Music, Western Music, Karnataka Music, National dance, Bharata dance and Drama & Theatre, conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English.
Audition for Western music and its practical exam will be held on November 3, before the same Examination Board.
Candidates have been informed that the final marks for the subject will depend on scores obtained for both theory and practical tests. Results of candidates not sitting for practical exams will not be released.
Admission cards and timetables for school applicants have been already posted to principal of all schools and for private candidates, to the addresses given in the application.
