Sri Lanka suffered their fourth successive defeat when they went down to Hong Kong 0-3 in their AHF Women’s Hockey Tournament fixture worked off in Singapore yesterday.

Earlier, the Sri Lanka Women lost to Chinese Taipei (0-6), Bangladesh (0-2) and Singapore (1-10) respectively.

Even then, Sri Lanka were able to hold their opponents to 0-0 during the first quarter but conceded a goal in the second quarter as they trailed 0-1 at half time.

However, Hong Kong scored their second goal in the third quarter to extend their lead to 2-0 and then struck again in the fourth and final quarter to complete a convincing victory.

Sri Lanka will meet Uzbekistan in their last group match of the tournament today.
