MoE ready to enrol new teachers as Student Counsellors

The Ministry of Education (MoE), in a press release, stated they have already held exams and interviews to enrol new teachers as Student Counsellors, and would be appointed to National schools in the related province.

The Appointments would be handed over to the teachers who passed the exams in November 2018 and faced the interview and practical exams held from May 31, 2019-June 10, 2019.

There are 232 vacancies in National schools (184 Sinhala medium, 48 Tamil medium), Wayamba Province- 341 vacancies (274 Sinhala medium, 67 Tamil medium) and Sabaragamuwa Province 235 vacancies (182 Sinhala medium, 53 Tamil medium).
