GCE O/L, A/L certificates online
View(s):The Ministry of Education(MoE) this week launched the online availability of GCE Ordinary Level, Advanced Level certificates.
Accordingly students could log on to www.donets.lk, provide their details and access their certificates.
He said that it has been agreed with the Postal Department to deliver the certificates within 24 hours of the request being made.
Department of Examinations Commissioner Sanath Pujitha said that digitalising the system would enable the students get their certificates on time, without hassle.
“For those living outstation and overseas, an interval of 48 hours would be required,” he said. The recommendation to introduce an online system to issue certificates was made in October 2017, by an expert committee set up by Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam. - CC
