The National Institute of Business Management which is one of the pioneering state sector higher education institutes in Sri Lanka is happy to announce the commencement of a new degree programme in BSc (Hon’s) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management in collaboration with Coventry University, UK.

According to the QS Best Student Cities Index 2018 Coventry University is ranked as the 5th UK Student City in the country. The Times Higher Education UK (TEF) metrics ranking 2017 awarded Coventry University 2nd for its Teaching Excellence. It’s also the 13th in Guardian University Guide 2019 of 121 UK institutions ranked.

This degree programme is developed in order to cater for the Industry demands in Sri Lanka for the Civil Engineering and Construction sector. It will be offered by the Faculty of Engineering Environment & Computing of Coventry University, UK, which has a global reputation for excellent teaching, outstanding student experience and advance research with modern equipment and student facilities. This degree will be later accredited by the Institute of the Quantity Surveyors of Sri Lanka (IQSSL)

This new Degree Program will provide the students with an academically rigorous and industry influenced learning experience which would enable them to embark upon future careers and further study at postgraduate level in Sri Lanka and internationally.
