The Argyle, a new Luxury Hotel was ceremoniously launched in Hatton in its unique heartfelt approach. The hotel combines a hint of Scottish history with a modern touch. The glamour of the architecture paired with The Argyle’s signature service, brings an exclusive holiday experience in the Hatton region.
The Argyle just three hours away from Colombo is nestled in a centralized location that connects to all major attractions of the region such as Adam’s Peak, Nuwera Eliya, Kandy, Kithulgala, Horton Plains and Ella within a short journey.

General Manager of The Argyle, Indika Ayantha, stated, ‘Visitors can now spend a unique holiday in a star class hotel, in luxury. Our menu does offer a range of modern, traditional and intercontinental dishes to a discerning palette and our well experienced staff is dedicated to bringing an international standard of impeccable and customized service to every guest. The experience you may have at the hotel will certainly make you evoke the luxuries of the planters’ lives back in the days’.

Marketing Director of The Argyle, Shanika Salih stated, ‘We are delighted to present this unique property, a small luxury hotel with outstanding offerings which is a perfect fit for leisure seekers. The Argyle prides itself as the first Small Luxury Hotel in Hatton”. This new destination further sets itself apart from other properties in the region by presenting features and facilities such as a heated pool, wellness facilities, a Scottish themed bar, a karaoke lounge and activities for all ages.

The region was initially developed by Scottish tea planters who were enchanted with the surroundings as they were reminded of their homeland in Scotland. Reminiscent this history, the name of the property, ‘Argyle’ derives from the province of Argyllshire, Scotland.

The Argyle carries a warm, welcoming aura and ample
luxury facilities to provide
discerning travelers looking for a perfect holiday.
