67% of Gem-A Graduates studied gemmology for professional development
In Sri Lanka, the Gemmology Courses of Gem-A are being conducted at this institute, which has to be completed in two units- Foundation and the Diploma levels. The next intake for the Foundation course starts in the end of December of this year and new classes will be started in the 4th week of January, 2019.

Graduating from Gem-A with Diploma in Gemmology of Gem-A and obtaining FGA benefits any one to find employment related to gemstone industry and trade anywhere in the world. A new Gem Identification Course to teach basics of gemmology by theoretical and practical understanding of gemstones. It has also been planed as the doorstep to enter into the Foundation Course in Gemmology and continue to complete the Diploma in Gemmology of Gem-A at this institute.

Schedule of the courses:
Gemstone Identification Course of AGIL – Start from the beginning of December, 2018
Every Saturday from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm for 3 months.

Foundation in Gemmology of Gem-A – Start from 4th week of January 2019
Every Saturday from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm for 6 months.
Intake for Gem-A courses from 1st week of January, 2019.
