‘Crime Scene’ marks the entry of detective thriller to local TV

Introducing a locally made detective teleserial to the Sri Lankan TV audience ‘Crime Scene’ is now being aired from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on the National Rupavahini.

The teleserial with scenes of vehicle chase, stunts, shooting scenes is directed by U. A. Palliyaguru who is more popular in cinema. Entered cinema making ‘Super Six’, Palliyaguru went on to direct other films like ‘Peni Makuluwo’, ‘Sama’ and had earlier made the mega teledrama ‘Thuththiri’.

For the first time in the Sri Lankan teledrama history, ‘Crime scene’ is shot using six cameras and will be shot using drones and other camera technologies like GO PRO and OSMO camera. It will be recorded with 4K FULL HD picture quality and producers are of the view that this would be a novel experience to Sri Lankan TV audience.
