SLAAJ appoints legal consultant and advisor to the board
View(s):Senior Attorney-at-Law and Legal Consultant, Tivanka Ekaratne has been appointed as the Legal Consultant and advisor to the Sri Lanka Automobile Association in Japan (SLAAJ) at the board meeting held in Tokyo last month.

He is the first Legal Advisor to be appointed in the history of SLAAJ. Mr. Ekaratne, the Precedent Partner of Ekaratne Associates, has a Masters degree in International Trade Law from the University of Wales, UK. He also possesses a post graduate degree in Intellectual Property Law and is currently reading a Ph.D. Mr. Ekaratne practices in the fields of Civil Law, Commercial Law, Customs Law, Company Law, Intellectual Property Law and Criminal Law.
