Shangri-La Hambantota 2nd anniversary Golf tournament
View(s):To celebrate 2 years of good Golf at the Resort & Spa of Shangri-La Hambantota, it had a shotgun start on July 14. The tournament was the perfect opportunity to experience both the new Driving Range and the magnificent Golf Course, and look back on the evolution and accomplishment of the annual Golf membership.
“It was our vision to create a truly unique experience where the Golfing community can enjoy not just Golf facilities, but also a host of benefits at the Resort, to blend sport and vacationing, ” says Shangri-La’s Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa General Manager Moshi Perera.
Event offerings include 18-Holes of Golf, Range Balls, Goodie bag, and awards banquet. Trophies and Gift certificates were awarded to Winners and Runners-up for Best Gross Score, Longest Drive, and Nearest to the Pin.
