“Guttila Kavya” in two cities
View(s):Theatrical version of “Guttila Kawya” a prescribed text for both GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level Sinhala subjects will go on the boards in Avissawella and Kurunegala.
On May 23 the play directed by Akila Sapumal will be staged at 8.15 am and 10.30 am at the auditorium of Avissawella town hall and May 24 at the auditorium of Kurunegala Town hall.
Based on Sinhala literature ‘Guttila Kavya’, is performed by experienced actors Chadrasoma Binduhewa, Prasannajith Abeysuriya, Jayanath Bandara with Thilanka Gamage, Dinupa Kodagoda, Thilan Warnajith, Susantha Kahandawalaarachchi, Tony Kevitiyagala, Iresha Jeewanthi, Priyantha Kumari, Asiri Edirisinghe and lmaya Sewwandika.
Dilshan Umayanga handles music while stage setting is by Dasun Theikshana.
